Bill Archer -
Owner

Bill has over 30 years of experience in the construction business. He opened Archer Contracting in 1993. He is responsible for all employees. He estimates and helps design many of the company's design/build projects. He attended Traverse City Schools and has a B.S. in Business Administration from Western Michigan University. He holds a Michigan Builders License. In 2010 he was elected to the board of the Builders Exchange. In Bill's free time he likes to fly fish and snow shoe.

Scott Grubb -
Project Manager

Scott joined Archer Contracting in 1998. Scott is primarily responsible for commercial projects. He takes on the responsibility of purchasing and managing these projects. He also develops our insurance contacts. He has a certification from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration. He is a native of Traverse City. Scott's hobby is jeeping.

Lance Dunham -
Estimator

Lance has been with Archer Contracting since 2001. Lance's specialty is insurance repair estimates. He has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry. Lance is a retired insurance adjuster, and works with us every year until the snow flies, then Lance and his wife head south to the warmer weather.

Matt Richardson -
Project Superintendent

Matt started at Archer Contracting in 2003. Matt has over 12 years experience in construction. His experience has been with masonry, framing and running projects. He supervises employees and subcontractors on all phases of projects. He carries a certification from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration. Matt's off time is spent with his wife and baby daughter.

Dorothy Leary -
Office Manager

Dorothy has been with Archer Contracting since we opened in 1993. She has numerous responsibility beyond office requirements. During the summer months when she is not in the office you can find her on her Harley, or volunteering at the hospital.
